Please say it doesn't just happen to me...

Went for a really long lunch with friends. Came back at 4.30 to the sight of about 25 windsurfers planing in the lagoon. I rushed about getting my kit together and down to the beach, and by the time I got there everyone was coming off the water. The more I rushed, the more the ropes jammed in the cleats, the more times I needed to adjust the mast extension (1st time this year for the 6.8)... ARGH! And yes, as you can guess, as I hit the water (by now, EVERYONE ELSE was off) it died to about a 2. The heavy Gun 6.8 became a liability... pottered about for half an hour, trying to kid myself that I really shouldn't take the hint and just take up golf... I'd give it one and a half stars, but scrape to 2, at least I managed to practice a bit of rig control.
